About Nepalese Association of Utah

Nepalese Association of Utah (NAUT) is a non political and nonprofit organization aiming in promoting Nepalese culture and unifying Nepalese away from home.We are an open organization where anybody can be a member. Nepalese Association of Utah is established to unite all the people sharing same Nepalese culture, language, and heritage.

Nepalese Association of Utah (NAUT) is a non profit and non political organization with the primary goal to share and promote Nepalese life and culture in the state of Utah. Our mission is to preserve, and promote Nepali cultural heritage and to foster mutual cooperation among the Nepalese and friends of Nepal in the state of Utah.

In 2003, Nepalese People residing in Utah established Utah Nepali Samaj (UNS) to unite Nepalese friends in Utah. UNS used to organize Summer Picnic and Dashain/Tihar Festivals to promote Nepali culture. UNS dissolved after a few years of registration. 

In 2009, Nepalese Association of Utah (NAUT) was established to unite more members who love or share same Nepalese culture, language, and heritage.

Our Mission:

1) To bring together all Nepalese and people who love Nepal by organizing various event.

2) To promote Nepalese cultural heritage and language in the local community through various mediums such as these: 

  • Cultural Events
  • Nepalese Cultural Celebrations
  • Traditional Festival Celebrations
  • Community Engagement and Participation etc.

2) To extend helping hand to Nepal and the the local community through community engagement, volunteer opportunities.

3) To assist and provide support to Nepalese families and Students settling in the state of Utah with information, mentoring, resources, and professional guidance.

4) To help educate and guide Utahns traveling or wanting to learn more about Nepal, the Culture there, Language, Food.

We encourage all our active and new members to commit to greater participations and support the vital role that NAUT plays.
